A Song for Masked Adults and Wounded Souls

Goodbye psychological manipulator. There is a drink that looks like beer but has no alcohol at all. Psychological manipulators also look like adults, live adult lives, and have responsibilities as adults, but in reality, they are not adults. Self-respect is not something you can ask others for, but something you have to push forward strongly on your own. You cannot become a better person by letting others step on your feet. I chose this book to fight against people who commit unfair harassment with contradictory words and actions. The author, who worked as a psychological counselor in France, said that she discovered the patterns of psychological manipulators in the patterns of her clients and began intensive research. What I liked about this book was that it dealt with various cases in an unboring way, making it easy to read and understand. The disappointing thing is that the solution is described too little in the latter half, and it is disappointing that there is a hypnosis, not hypnosis, that the solution has already begun the moment you read this book. The solution is that you are not wrong and protect yourself. The rating is 3.5 stars, and I would like to recommend it to people who are weak-hearted and easily blame or censor themselves in conflict situations. #PsychologicalManipulation #SelfEsteem #FrenchPsychologicalCounseling #PsychologicalCounseling #HumanRelationships #SelfEsteem #SelfDevelopment #BookRecommendation #Bookstagram #ConflictResolution

A Flower of Solidarity Blooming Under the Shadow of Violence

While contemplating how to respond to violence, I chose a book called "The Challenge of Feminism" by writer Jung Hee-jin. This book concludes with chapters on militarism and masculinity, global capitalism and masculinity, and the marketization of violence. It was interesting how it used the military as a subject to explain the role of women and the long history of violence, leading up to today's 'unprovoked violence.' The mechanism by which violence occurs, the idea that rights and obligations are not in conflict, and the explanation that women, as second-class citizens, have neither the right nor the obligation to become soldiers were refreshing. Throughout, this book criticizes a society that forces victimhood. In conclusion, it states that, with the exception of self-defense, the other party's wrongdoing cannot justify violence under any circumstances. The gaslighting phrase "It hurts because it's youth" comes to mind once again. Is pain a prerequisite for life? This is a book I want to read with my precious male and female acquaintances. #Feminism #JungHeeJin #ChallengeOfFeminism #Violence #Women #Militarism #Masculinity #Gender #Bookstagram #Readingstagram

Simple Life, Infinite Love, and Peace of Mind

Dominique Loreau, lives simply. Let's love the infinite diversity of human beings. The way to live well is to enjoy life. To love, you must be able to accept the unreasonable and acknowledge the mysterious phenomena that cannot be reasoned with cause and effect. Only then can we find peace of mind and unleash energy even in the worst case. Since we have a limited time to live on this earth, we must do our best to live happily in the given situation. Let's break off relations with a sense of duty. Let's not be bound by others. We must have the courage to refuse with a smile without making excuses. No one can wield us. The only person who will move us is ourselves. If we cannot express our opinions as we please, our lives will not be as we please. #MinimalLife #SimpleLife #LivingHappily #SelfDetermination #PeaceOfMind #FreeLife #EnjoymentOfLife #PositiveLife #SelfLove #IndependentLife

Debt of Oblivion, Wound of Memory

Yang Gwi-ja's Contradiction. My name is Ahn Jin-jin. When repaying the money, quietly look for Ahn Jin-jin. Got it? People cherish small wounds for a long time and quickly forget great favors. This is because they think of wounds as debts that must be received, and favors as debts that do not necessarily have to be repaid. Most people calculate their life's ledger like that. #YangGwiJa #Contradiction #AhnJinJin #KoreanNovel #Literature #Bookstagram #Writingstagram #Reading #Sayings #LifeQuotes

An Ordinary Wife, the Beginning of Extraordinary Sorrow

Han Kang's novel "The Vegetarian." Until my wife started vegetarianism, I never thought she was a special person. The novel begins with this intense first sentence. In a society where ordinary and extraordinary people must live together, we must always be aware that anyone can be a perpetrator or a victim. #HanKang #TheVegetarian #NovelRecommendation #KoreanLiterature #Feminism #Literaturestagram #Bookstagram #Bookstagram #Perpetrator #Victim

Cocktails, Zombies, and Knots That Can Never Be Untied

A collection of short stories by author Cho Ye-eun, "Cocktail Love Zombie". The first work, "Invitation". A fishbone that metaphorizes the subtle moment of violence that is invisible but clearly felt. The moments of subtle unpleasantness of not being cared for lead from parents, including parents, to my boyfriend, Jeong-hyeon, when I was young. Attempts to subtly evaluate me, cut down my previous self, and change me. It is a story that conveys comfort in cruelty with the help of Tae-ju, who appears as a female villain. Second, "Love of the Wetlands". A fiery love story between a water ghost and a forest ghost. Third, "Cocktail Love Zombie". It's a perfect family horror story to read during the holidays. A patriarchal father, who was having a boisterous dinner outside, was infected with a zombie virus, confined to his home, and tormented my mother and me, eventually biting me. A black comedy that ends with my father's head being blown off by my mother, and my daughter preventing secondary zombie infection by performing ancestral rites for the parasite snake host that came out of his head. The last work, "Overlap Knife Knife". A highly complete time paradox genre. The desperation of characters who are trapped in tragedy even if they try to go back and forth in time leaves a long lingering impression. A well-structured, chewy taste. The best story in terms of immersion and immersion. It reminds me of the famous drama "Nine".

In the Maze of Choices, a Song of a Lost Soul

Source: coba1t.kr/s.php?k=HiiuQH After watching <Black Mirror - Player Mode>, I started to rethink the free will of humans. Humans are not necessarily happy just because they are given many choices. Can the given choices and manipulated directions rather free humans from anxiety? And can we positively view the appearance of choosing humans if they have reached a better state? To what extent can we consider it human free will? It also connects with the thought that Eren, the main character of <Attack on Titan>, was a slave to freedom. The sad irony of moving away from freedom as you shout for freedom, and moving away from happiness as you pursue happiness. #BlackMirror #PlayerMode #FreeWill #IronyOfChoice #AttackOnTitan #Eren #EssenceOfHumanity #PhilosophicalConsideration #DigitalSociety #MeaningOfHappiness

In the Vanished Time, Shadows of Futile Busyness

Second book review of 'Fake Work'. This book is largely composed of vanished time, vanished meaning, and reclaiming time and meaning. The part I read today is about time and meaning. The concluding part of vanished time talks about the essence and changes of labor. It starts with the story of empty labor. It talks about four types of empty labor: loafing, stretching time, increasing work, and fabricating work. These are types that are so commonly seen around us that it's both amusing and bitter. It also mentions fake work, where people receive salaries while doing really irrelevant and unnecessary tasks, indulging in pretending to be busy, and raises the question of whether real work in the world might be much less. Why do so many people engage in fake work and get swayed by long working hours? It asks if a 15-hour work week could be realized if fake work were eliminated. It goes on to mention office workers who reorganize documents to maintain the feeling of being a working person and to preserve their self-esteem, even though they are not creating any results, and also talks about the mechanism by which old tasks become meaningless the moment change is encountered. It says that fake work is not the exclusive property of certain people but is derived from the social system. This is true of the stories about works and results that pursue rationality but are not rational. The various systems that have sprung up believing they are rational become irrational by gnawing at and destroying the main body of the system. The story of technologies that do not work as intended is in the same context. The invention of email and automobiles has resulted in the creation of more labor. The technology that we expected to liberate us has ultimately created more work, and there is an example of how doing laundry once a month has changed to once a day with the advent of washing machines. AI in this era has also emerged as if it will liberate us from labor, but in reality, even in the company I belong to, labor has increased as a person in charge of the AI-only team has been created. I'm curious about how the world will unfold in the future. Will AI be able to eliminate fake work, or will it become a technology that creates another fake work? The vanished meaning part talks about the self-aggrandizement of highly paid executives and the culture of believing in labor. It's about a culture where the answer 'no' is taboo to the question 'Are you busy?' In ancient times, loafing was the privilege of the aristocracy, but now the culture is that people who do busy-looking work are treated as valuable people. The busy lives of the new upper class have become synonymous with success and progress. The boss concludes by saying to end the culture of believing in busyness, go home when you're done, get rid of fake work, and do real work.

Attack on Titan, Tears Flowing in the Name of Brothers

Even if I watch Attack on Titan seven times, I still cry. A true masterpiece is a masterpiece. How did the author come up with such a story? There are so many tear-jerking moments. Among them, there is one tear-jerking moment that others might just pass by, but it always gets to me. It is the brotherly friendship of Colt, Porco, and Falco. Colt goes to Zeke to ask him not to scream, in order to prevent his younger brother, who drank Zeke's spinal fluid, from turning into a mindless Titan. But Zeke refuses and executes the scream. Colt hugs his brother, who will soon become a mindless Titan and kill him, and says, "It's okay, your brother will be here for you." He dies leaving his last words. Can a brother love his brother this much? Colt is too human and stimulates tears to be called just an extra supporting character. I am an only child with no siblings, so why does this scene of Colt make my heart ache so much? And there's more. It is Porco's death in the same episode. The story comes out that Porco's brother Marcel manipulated Reiner's image to become the Armored Titan so that his brother would not inherit the Nine Titans. Porco kept not understanding why he was pushed back from inheriting the Armored Titan compared to Reiner and was swept up in inferiority, jealousy, and envy, but knowing that it was his brother's intention, he was eaten by Falco instead of Reiner and passed on the Jaw Titan. This scene is also so, so sad.
